The GPs' Own Charity can Support you in Times of Need

The main beneficiaries of the Fund, in its early days, were older GPs who had not signed up to the NHS Pension Scheme and were living on the State pension. However, we find we are receiving more and more applications from younger doctors and doctors who have been GP partners. Usually there is an event; an accident, a serious illness or redundancy which has caused financial hardship.

The number of beneficiaries that we have assisted in recent years has gradually increased as the schedule below indicates:
