LMC Conference 22 & 23 May 2014

The Annual Conference of Local Medical Committee Representatives takes place next week at the Barbican Centre in York.  The Cameron Fund will have a stand in the foyer.  We look forward to meeting delegates and providing information about our work.  We hope to recruit some new members who can help to promote the Fund among the GP community.

Applications and Beneficiaries in 2013

In 2013, the Cameron Fund received 144 new applications and assisted a total of 170 beneficiaries with grants, loans, Money Advice and Career Coaching.

40% of the new applications came from enquiries on this web site and 27% were referrals from Local Medical Committees

Record LMC Donations in 2013

The Cameron Fund is delighted to have received over £145,000 from Local Medical Committees during 2013.  Another record!

Congratulations to Dr Eric Wilkinson

We are delighted that Dr Eric Wilkinson from Hampshire completed the Great South Run in 1 hour 41 minutes and 28 seconds.

Guaranteed Interest Free Loans

In response to the increasing number of requests for support from GPs who are undergoing retraining, the Trustees have reserved a sum of money to provide short term loans towards living expenses.

Dr Eric Wilkinson and the Great South Run
