Mental Health Awareness Week 11 - 17 May
The link between poor mental health and money is well known: when we struggle with our mental health it can be difficult to manage our finances and when we are struggling with finances, this can often affect our mental health and lead to a downward spiral.
Next week is Mental Health Awareness Week and the Mental Health Foundation will be highlighting the importance of good mental health, challenging stigma and asking people to take action to support their own wellbeing and that of others.
There are lots of ways to get involved and the Foundation has put together a range of resources for individuals and workplaces which are available here. These tools provide simple steps towards supporting good mental health which can make it easier to overcome the big obstacles in life.
The Foundation's website also offers advice and insight on a number of specific mental health issues, from diagnosed conditions to factors that can make it hard to cope in life such as debt and stress. Further details can be found here.
