Trustee Vacancy - West Sussex and Surrey
The Cameron Fund is the GPs’ own charity, the only medical benevolent fund that solely supports general practitioners and their dependants. We provide support to GPs and their families in times of financial need, whether through ill-health, disability, death or loss of employment. We help those who are already suffering from financial hardship and those who are facing it.
The Fund is governed by 20 trustees, all GPs or retired GPs, who are elected on a regional basis. We currently have a vacancy on our Council of Management for a trustee to represent the area of West Sussex and Surrey.
To be eligible for nomination, GPs should be registered members of the Cameron Fund. Nominations should comprise a letter or email signed by the nominee indicating their willingness to stand for election. The letter/email should arrive at the Cameron Fund office no later than Friday 6 November.
If two or more candidates stand for election, a ballot will be held.
For an informal discussion about what is involved, please contact our Chief Executive, Jill Rowlinson, at info@cameronfund.org.uk.
